I bought this book for my 2-year-old and I was disappointed in some of the messages the book teaches. First, I don't like the fact that the book opens with a man stealing George from Africa like its no big deal. I also don't like the fact that there are several instances of smoking in the book, including George.

Curious George is entertaining for my grandchildren. George shows that he can get into mischief and then finds a way of turning things around and learning from his experience.

My 18-month-old son was given a Curious George doll as a hand-me-down from his 10-year-old twin cousins last year. Ever since then, his love of George began. This book is long, but he sat through the entire thing (a rareity in itself!)

My 3 year old grand daughter loves watching curious george on PBS, she was thrilled when the book came. We love it and read many times each week. We hope that in the future more of his stories will be available.

My great granddaughter really enjoyed the book. She really liked Curious George. I also brought the Curious George books for my sons and my other grandchildren.
