Three Hens and a Peacock
So, what happens when three hens and a fancy peacock decide to swap jobs? Hilarity ensues as the three hens get all gussied up and attempt to strut their stuff, while the peacock clucks and clucks and tries to lay an egg. Talk about a rather unusual barnyard adventure! It's a cute story. Takes probably about 5-10 minutes to read. The pictures are colorful and nice, and the story is well developed. It offers a cute message about jealousy and finding your niche. It is not my daughters favorite, but it is also not her least favorite. I don't have "buyer's remorse" for this purchase.

When reading this book my girls loved the story. We also added different voices and accents for the animals.

Loved it! I really liked the part where the hens donned their jewels to attract potential customers. Only a peacock can do what a peacock does.
