Love Olivia, but not this one

I felt this book was very pretentious. We've been fans of Olivia for a long time, but especially in this day and age in the state of our economy and world, this story is not reasonable or for the regular working class family.

My 4-year old son and 2 year old daughter adore this book. The artwork is amazing and Olivia is as sassy as ever. Having been to Venice, I found the book very true-to-life and really enjoyed it.
