Good book, need more detail and removable viewer
January 26, 2011

My 3 year old son loves this book, but the 3D viewer being attached to the book was a little difficult at first. He has the hang of it now, but it's starting to rip from him opening the book. Besides the viewer issues, the book itself is great, except, I wish there was more detail about the bugs. My son asks questions that aren't answered in the book, so we'll be taking a trip to the library so he can learn more.

Although I agree that the magnifier is hard to use, my 4 yr old grandson loves this book. Its the 1st thing he runs to. Wish there had been more pictures.

3D Insect and Spider Book
January 19, 2010

I bought this for my 4 and 6 year old grandsons who absolutely love anything to do with spiders or insects; however, the magnifier is awkward to use and the four year old found it frustrating. It would have been much better if it were removable.

Confusing

To me this book was confusing. i expected to get a hand held magnifying glass. The page sequences were hard to understand. I sent it back.--Anna W.
