CHRIS VAN ALLSBURG
Acclaimed author and illustrator Chris Van Allsburg’s has created more than 15 children’s book, many of which have inspired major motion pictures including his two Caldecott Medal winners, Jumanji, and The Polar Express. Van Allsburg has received a Caldecott Honor Book for his first book, The Garden of Abdul Gasazi,. along with the Regina Medal for lifetime achievement in children’s literature, the National Book Award for Jumanji. Many of his books were named New York Times Best Illustrated Book, as well.
