My 2.5 year old thinks this book is hilarious, I would have thought the humor was too old for him but apparently not. It's a good, fun book to read before bed - I think the kids get a kick out of telling someone else (the pigeon) to go to bed for a change! Definitely recommend it.

I am a teacher in a private preschool for kids age 3-6. When I brought this book to school it quickly became a favorite. The children request it all the time and we've even bought all the other pidgeon books. They're great for getting child participation.

My son is a creature of habit and always wanted the same books read to him at bed time. I decided I was going to choose one night, and pulled out the pigeon books. He balked at first but that didn't last long. He laughed so hard with that true, from the heart laugh that children have and pigeon is now a favorite! Once is never enough. We have to read it at least twice. Excellent book!

An honest, fun, delightful tale of the "battle of the bed" wars. A real treasure for any library. What I like most about Mo Willens, is everyone of his books appeal to kids and adults alike. They're fun and hilariously addictive, with pictures that come alive. My daughter's can't get enough.

My daughter loves my husband and I reading books to her before she goes to sleep. Reading the other reviews I thought I'd try this one. She wasn't a big fan of it. Maybe when she gets a little older she'll have more fun with it but for now it's all about the "if you give" series.
