They tried to make some of the letters easier, like "X is for all the games you play". However, for my child who knows all the sounds of all the letters, he doesn't get how "X" can be for something when an X doesn't appear in the rest of the sentence. Minor point, but just doesn't flow as nice as some other ABC books. True for some other letters also.

My two year old daughter always enjoys a good book, and this book was no exception. I would recommend this book for any child as part of their "night night" routine. Did I mention that this book also aids in learning the alphabet?

I have always enjoyed reading Margaret Wise Brown to my children and Grandchildren. Now I have the pleasure of reading to my almost 2, great granddaughter. This is a sweet story for bedtime and I am sure she will enjoy it for many nights. The illustrations are adorable and colors appeal to the young pre-schoolers. The word choices are wonderful for extending their vocabulary. A sweet book all the way around. Thank you
